Spring in Japan is incredibly beautiful.
All at once, the cherry blossoms bloom and show us their brief, delicate life.
But spring in Japan also brings a lot of rain and wind…
This year too, the winds have been so strong that the cherry blossoms are already coming to an end.
For the sake of this fleeting beauty, they endure the heat of summer and the cold of winter, and then bloom beautifully again the following spring.
Their lifespan is said to be around 70 years, so it’s possible that we may only have a little time left to see so many of these blossoms as we do now.
Please enjoy my beloved, beautiful cherry blossoms as much as you can ☺️

The cherry blossoms are about to fall soon, aren’t they?
But I actually think it’s beautiful even when the petals are drifting down!
In Nakameguro, the petals fall into the river every year and it turns into this pink carpet.
It’s really lovely—you should check it out sometime 😊
